Using Wise Owl's Salve

Using Wise Owl's Salve

Happy Friday, everyone!

This week seems to have flown by for me. Today is Halloween, so I am also thinking this month, even this YEAR has flown by. Just yesterday it was Christmas 2024, right??? It is incredible how much truth is in the saying- time flies when you're having fun. This week the temps have dropped tremendously with the arrival of rain and a cold front. I believe they are calling for a frost advisory tonight, and last week it was in the 80s in the Memphis area!

Well, this week I wanted to talk to you about a great product that Wise Owl has- it is the Salve, it comes in lots of different scents, or even unscented (which can be used on cutting boards), but the scents are amazing and the product is even better than it smells. Some of the things I have used it for include:

-Moisturizing drawers in dressers and chests

-Moisturizing leather products- including boots, shoes, chairs, and even my sofa

-Lubricating drawer slides in furniture

-Protection of chalk paint finishes and raw wood

-Shining up metal that has been scratched or is dull

-Polishing my wood front door

It is really an impressive product. I apply it with the 2" palm brush and you can find that on my website under Wise Owl Premium Brushes. It is a brush that fits exactly into the salve can and then you just apply it in circular motions until the surface is covered. Come back in a bit and wipe off the excess and you are done! It covers small scratches on wood and we use it once a year on our wood mantle and front door to polish them. Bonus- it leaves a great smell when you walk by (my favorite scent is Bourbon Vanilla).

I hope that you can see that one can of the salve is a great bargain and something you can use all around your home. Give it a try and let me know what you think!

Happy Trick-or-Treating!

Amy
