This week I haven't had anything more important to talk about than my new granddaughter Hannah Claire. She is a tiny little sweet thing, 5 pounds and 9 ounces at birth. But I'm not surprised because her parents are small and so it goes. I wouldn't stay up until 3:30 am for many things, but my daughter having her baby was one that I could!
I have two other grandchildren and I know that this new baby will be a joy and add so much fun to my life just as the others have. If you have them you know! John is already planning to take her for a ride in the Jeep haha (in a few years) and I am excited to see all the stages she will go through as long as I am here. I am so thankful to God for all my blessings. I know that not everyone has these blessings, but I do know that everyone is blessed in some way, and I am thankful for the gifts in my life.
I wonder if her hair will stay brown, if she will look like her mom or dad, whose temperament she will inherit, and whether or not she will love softball like her mama and I, if she will love sports like her dad, or all of the above! It is just so exciting and wonderful.
